Alexandra (Lex) Hall-Pinner Lee is a socially aware illustrator who creates a curious combination of children's book art and horror concept illustrations. This marrying of polar opposite art fields was fostered by growing up with influences such as Stephen Gammell's "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark," R. L. Stein's "Goosebumps," and spooky art by Edward Gorey. Her focus is inclusive children's books and social awareness projects. Her personal art is mostly creature design, surrealism, and macabre doodles. Lex fits into a variety of categories, some of which are: nerd, mother, neurodivergent, tattoo/dinosaur enthusiast, and video gamer/streamer. She lives with her partner and two children in the San Francisco Bay Area. You can find her art on www.LexLeeArt.com.
Lex work mostly freelance for the time being and accepts illustration project inquiries via email: LexLeeArt@gmail.com
